An angel asked me, why am I into blog all of a sudden?
I do not have the habit of keeping diaries as far as I can recall. Ah, except my primary school days - to write a short essay everyday in an unattractive brown colored 单线簿 or 中小方格簿。Usually, I copied part of my so-called diary from 知识画报 or 小星星周刊. No harm la, all student has similar daily routines. Then, there was a short period of time during my high school time, where I kept a diary with a boy. You must be wondering how. It’s actually exchanging diary. We wrote about thoughts and happenings of our lives and exchange when we meet in school. This was our bridge of corresponding and understanding. That was the sweetest period during my school days. (Okla, I admit, I had a huge crush with this guy. No, not just crush, it was a massive explosion. Haha!) Oh, back to reality, imagination went wild. *paiseh* My next encounter of 'diary' was during my university days. It was this music criticism course where we were required to write 'course diary' after every lecture. Em, this was quite useful because I need to pay more attention during class, but guess what. I only start to write my course diary during the end of the semester. I sort of crammed up everything and hand in at the very last minute. Hehe.
Anyway, the idea of creating a blog does not come out of the blue. I have been thinking for many years. Just merely neurons transmitting signals in my brain, no physical action. Partly because I had hectic schedules in university and work; and another reason is because I do not have my own laptop. Now that I have my own baby and more flexibility in time, so why not? Finally I set my foot down and signed up blogger.
Blogging has been a trend for a few years, young kids from 8 years old to grandma of 80 years old also know how to blog. I know, I’m kinda outdated to board the bus now. Better late than never! To answer angel’s question on why am I into blogging lately:
1. To improve my writing skills and the ability of expressing my thoughts with words. Hence, upgrade my essay quality and language proficiency. This will come in handy in thesis writing next time :p
2. To notate my daily life. When I die, this is a proof of my existence on this earth. At least people can still recall me and reminisce the good old times we had. Haha!
3. A mirror for me to reflect myself, my thoughts. And also an alternative channel of expression (other than physical conveyance, verbal communication and music).
4. (Being forced to put this reason) I am inspired by a wonderful writer – Mr Cheong. He is an excellent blogger. Therefore, I’m trying to follow his footsteps. Hehe. Happy now?
I guess these are the reasons I blog. What about you?
慧言慧语
Welcome :)
