Happy New Year

Realised I haven't been writing for awhile. Well, was really busy to get myself to Morgantown. Anyway, I had a memorable 'new year celebration' which I think I won't forget for the rest of my life. (Probably I would not want this to happen again. haha!) I start 2009 in an extraordinary manner.

Seriously, many stories to tell, very adventurous too. But to cut it short so you guys are not bore to death.. I've been through 6 airports, take more than 23 hours of flight, (mind you, without calculating transit hours!!) had a difficult time on carrying luggages, lost 2 of my luggages, then found it, and delayed of flights and lastly different cars to reach where I am now -- Morgantown in West Virginia, USA.

So, to further elaborate my adventure. Let me tell you in detail on my route to get to Morgantown. Started from KLIA.. then i flew 4 hours to Taipei International airport. Sit there about 5 hours..waiting waiting.. Then fly..er..ar.. i cant remember probably 11 hours to reach LA? When I reach LA, my uncle suppose to fetch me, but he was late. I don't have phone, tried to call from public phone but don't know how to use. (somehow the phone is a bit cacat!) Finally my uncle arrived and followed him to San Diego. Again, 2 hours drive from LA to San Diego. I stayed there for 2 days and suppose to fly to Morgantown on 30 Dec. However, due to bad weather at San Diego Airport, my flight was cancelled and rescheduled to the next day. So, I came back the 2nd day and checked in. Everything is smooth and fine. So I flew to Washington from San Diego.. I think 5 hours? Then transit to Morgantown from Washington. Now, here is the best part. My flight was delayed in San Diego and so when we arrive at Washington, I'm late for my next flight. So have to run run run to catch my plane. However, my check in luggage did not run with me. So when I reach Morgantown at 11.20pm; 31 Dec 2008, I do not have my luggages. I have to countdown in this small ulu airport, while my luggages are having a feast at Washington. Great. So I bunked in to my senior's apartment and finally came to my own apartment. That few days was very very busy. Cleaning, shopping, tidying, sweeping, wiping, scrubbing... all the chores you do when you move new house. And still, i'm without my luggages..sob sob. They actually arrive only on 2 January 2009, 3pm.

Hence, I think that's my New Year's story. Need to grab some sleep now. Will see if I have time to post up photos of my new apartment here! If not, check my facebook :P
